Reporting and content removal

This page is for anyone, whether supported by the agency or not, who wants to request the removal of a piece of content. Nothing here costs anything and no account is required.

01Who to write to

All requests go to jass@rearshot.com. It is the single address for reports, removal requests and counter-notices. Sending there is enough: there is no need to also use the contact form.

02What the request should contain

The exact URL of the page or content concerned, the nature of the problem (content published without consent, identity misuse, copyright infringement, a person under 18), a way to reach you, and if you hold the rights, a statement that you are acting in good faith and are authorised to do so. A screenshot helps but is not required.

03Response time

Acknowledgement within 72 working hours. Reports concerning content published without consent, or involving a person under 18, are treated as absolute priority and the content is removed immediately, before the substance is even examined.

04Content involving a person under 18

Zero tolerance, no exception. The content is removed at once, the associated account is suspended and the competent authorities are notified. Age verification is required of every creator before any collaboration, but a report remains possible at any time and will always be treated as priority.

05Content published without consent

If content showing you has been published without your agreement, or if you withdraw consent you previously gave, write to us. Removal requires no justification on your part: your consent can be withdrawn at any time, including for content already online.

06Copyright infringement (DMCA)

For content you own the rights to that is being distributed without authorisation, send the same elements as a standard DMCA notice: identification of the work, the disputed URL, your contact details, a good-faith statement. We remove the content or cut access as soon as it is verified.

07Disputing a removal

If content of yours was removed in error, you can dispute it at the same address, explaining why. The request is reviewed again and you receive a reasoned reply.

08Content hosted elsewhere

The agency can only remove what it hosts or publishes on this site. For content distributed on a third-party platform, the request must be addressed to that platform. If you are supported by the agency, we help you prepare and follow up on those steps.
